I would liked to have seen another fight with Vitaly. I get the feeling, with proper preparation, Vitaly would have won the second match. Lewis wisely retired. Lewis moved very well and delivered serious KO power, McCall and Rahman were bad days at the office.

Lewis is underrated IMO. Some people don't have him in the top 10 ATG's, I see him in the top 3.

Vitali probably would have won but Lewis was 38 and well past it

I don't think Vitali would have won. Lewis in that fight reeked of Lewis from Rahman 1, lewis was badly beaten by rahman, but came back and dismantled him when he was in shape. Same thing would have happened to Vitali, Vitali's entire career is built on the fact that he did alright in a losing effort against Lewis, he is lucky big len didn't come back prepared and ice him.

Top 3 is overrated. That should be Ali, Louis, and Holmes. Top 5 can be argued, and he is defiantly top 10.

Vitali - beat future ring champ at 37years of age, 3 months from his 38th birthday

Golota - rated no1 in the world by many after he beat up on Bowe. KO'D IN 1

Rudduck - top3 in the world, destroyed in 2

Tua - new Tyson, maybe the hardest left hooker ever, shutout

Bruno - top 5 fighter, Lennox was having a tough time but ko'd him

Rahman - came back from a KO loss at 35 to destroy Rahman

Morrison - ex WBO champ, big hitter, fresh off beating Rudduck, top 10 fighter, dominated

Tucker - unbeaten since Tyson, ex IBF champ and top 10 operator dominated

McCall - avenged the loss making Oliver cry

Mercer - toughed it out to win a tough decision against a tough style

Briggs - linear champ, destroyed in 4

Grant - the heir apparent destroyed

Gary Mason - top5 fighter, 35-0, beaten into retirement

Lewis can't help it Prime Bowe and Prime Holyfield ducked him, he beat everyone else
You really think that was the best HW era of all time?

I have Lennox in my top ten and I don't think he is overrated at all. Since he retired he has started to gain more and more respect from the boxing communiuty and I think with time his legacy will continue to grow. He boxed very well for a big man and had excellent power to boot

Foreman -- you may laugh but the man came back after ten or eleven years and eventually won back the title. Disney couldn't have written a better story than that.

                    Holyfield

I wasn't very impressed with Holyfield's career at heavy....exciting as hell but he just didn't have the big wins -- besides Tyson and one over Bowe.

                      Over-Rated and Under-Rated imo.

He beat a Passed it Tyson that cared for nothing except a Pay Day, and an over the hill Holyfield.

I reckon top 15 easily, maybe eeks into top 10.

But who cares, he's retired, end of discussion.
