im pretty sure the reasonable ones knew that KO was never going to come from headshots, but from body shots..

i expected Cotto to pull a decision cause of how tough Marg was,not KO
You wasnt here around the time when the poll was done...Not saying you but there was a lot of poster picking Cotto to KO Margorito.

i like clottey, he and i fight real similar, except i have my front hand out a bit further.

Anyway, i think he will give Cotto a lot of trouble, that tight guard is hard to get through and you can counter real well from it

Clottey won't be as tough of a fight as many think. He has the perfect style for Cotto, an economical puncher who stand there blocks and counters. Cotto is going to dictate the pace of this fight, tee off on Clottey and break him down.

cosign. I think Clottey is a bit overrated. It's the same "monster" hype that Williams and Margarito get.

He's a good fighter, but Miguel Cotto will beat him.

you dont tee off on a guy with a tight guard like clottey, its hard to get punches through. i doubt he will break him down either, clottey is a big WW, iron jaw and very tough. cotto will have to circle clottey and attack at angles, attack from different angles again, and throw lots of punches to get through that D and avoid counters.

and clottey will make him work hard to do that, its going to be a good fight

you can't compare Clottey to that bum.......long story short......timin' is everything in this sport.......Cotto may be the better overall BOXER of the 2........but Clottey is fighting him at the right time........understand?......if not you'll see what I mean come June 13th

He has a tight guard and a lazy output. Cotto is going to hit him everywhere he can. Clottey doesn't have the power or output to keep Clottey off of him. And Clottey will be broken down.

Nah, Clottey is much better all around. Cotto will need to be a bit more cautious.
I still think Cotto wins, but Clottey should make it competitive without a doubt.

When did Clottey become the creme de la creme? If Cotto doesn't put him down by the 11th round or at the very least make Clottey look like a journey man then I'll be very disappointed.

Also on a curious note the Branco fight is the only fight in Cotto's career that he had changed his training camp to Florida, similarly like he is doing know which is training in Florida. Here is a video of the end of the fight that shows how Cotto was trying to break Branco's shell like defense:

cotto should win, but clottey will be a lot tougher than branco.

add into that mix cotto's problems with evangelista and his ******* addiction, it wouldn't surprise me that clottey could upset cotto.
