Just goes out and now slightly more patiently than before tries to wing huge power shots at the guy's head in an attempt to knock them out cold. When he lands something he struts around arrogantly and dances for the judges and keeps his hands completely down at his sides like Nate Campbell. This guy is a brutal KO waiting to happen, smoeone needs to drill sergeant his ass.
What do you think about Lara?

because each time i see gamboa dancing around i keep loosing more hope for him.

I'm going to go against everyone and pick Gamboa to scratch a decision should this fight happen. I feel he can just sit back like he did tonight and use his vastly superior speed to counter whenever John leads. John fights orthodox as well, so he shouldn't have as many problems as he did tonight. If he tries to blitz continuously he will likely lose, he used a better game plan tonight for dealing with experienced boxers.

It's amazing how much criticism a fighter receives on here after winning every round against a strong veteran. Of course his discipline is going to break somewhat after dominating every round, he was trying to get his man out of there and already knew Rojas could do nothing to him, he was barely even throwing.

both of these lads are elite fighters waiting to happen...

gamboa is the explosive fan friendly one while CJ is the silent, technical type...

chris john's timing is impeccable... i have watched nearly all his title defenses & his jab is pretty accurate...

the perfect antidote to speed & explosiveness...

Yes, and Gamboa though it may have not been like the highlight reel ko's we are used to seeing from him showed patients and an over all improvement in defense....Juarez, hurt John towards the end of their fight and with Gamboa's speed I think he could too and possibly stop John.
