Why is it that everyone u wanna see lose has to fight Cotto?

I noticed a trend here in NBS: If you want any fighter from FW to WW to lose, match him against Cotto. Pacquiao, Mayweather, everyone who's on top and smaller and their mothers needs to fight Cotto. Why is that? People need to see Jennings-Cotto closely, Cotto did look impressive but he didn't look anything unbeatable. I think Cotto's egg was cracked honestly and if he gets past Clottey he should lose again before he is 30. I sense the Vargas syndrome but hope i'm wrong. Clottey won't be the one to do it because he is lazy imo.
