Wards got this **** in the bag, I can't believe how many people are picking Miranda. Even though Miranda hasn't looked all that good in his last couple of fights. Joe something had Miranda against the ropes, and I don't even know who the hell he is.Comment

Watch all of Miranda's fights. He enjoys fighting off the ropes for short periods. Other than Pavlik, it has always worked in his favor.Comment

In the first AA fight he didn't really fight off the ropes much, it was AA who was fighting off the ropes. Anyways, its never good to fight off the ropes especially when Miranda does not posses a floyd mayweather kind of defense.
So, basically what you're saying is that because Miranda got away with it against the non-elite fighters he beat. That he should use this tactic against Ward? I don't think thats a good tactic to use.Comment

Good points... He did fight against the ropes at times early in the fight with AA#1. But that is also when he took the most punishment. I agree with you though, not ever a good idea for him. I think he likes to play hurt and than turns the action around. I have seen him turn his opponent from the aggressor to the one in trouble with one swift move.In the first AA fight he didn't really fight off the ropes much, it was AA who was fighting off the ropes. Article says that Miranda is Puero Rican, but he's Colombian. That's not something you should mess up.
Anyways, this is a huge step up for Ward. Ward disappointed me in his last fight and he can't mess around switching southpaw against Miranda. I can see it going either way, probably 60-40 for Miranda.Comment
