WBO interim bantamweight champion Fernando Montiel is hoping that Vic Darchinyan beats Joseph Agbeko on July 11. Montiel wants Darchinyan to capture Agbeko's IBF title, and then the two of them could get together and unify their belts at the end of the year. Darchinyan, the current IBF/WBA/WBC super flyweight champion, moves up a division to meet the unbeaten Agbeko in a battle of punchers. [details]

I wont be surprised if Agbeko outboxes him or knocks him out. He looks like a really good fighter to me. -
not happening.... Agbeko's only real chance is if Darchinyan's power doesn't carry up to another division. Kirilov was supposed to outbox Vic, as was Mijares, and both failed badly. Agbeko seemed too willing to get into exchanges in his last fight, and his power awe inspiring.....Comment

While i want the proposed scerio to pan out, I dont understand what montiel has been doing. He was at superfly longer then anyone, yet he didint unify against Kirilov or Mijares, never faught arce. Now that darchinyan comes up from fly cleans out the divison and moves up he acts like he has been after darchinyan for years.Comment

Mijares overrated? Second of all why are you asking for odds in a fight between two ****ers, one of whom is the smaller guy and moving up to his 3rd divison.Comment
