floyd sr. is a very bad choice of trainer for ricky in this fight.

i still think the only reason floyd is in ricky's corner is because they wanted him in ricky's corner to the upcoming oscar-ricky fight (after oscar had gotten an easy payday win over manny)

i think they wanted a oscar's former trainer training ricky against oscar plot to that fight.

old smothering ricky would be perfect against pac. even if ricky smothers his own punches , he smothers pac's as well.

with both trading punches with no space and no snap in them , ricky would have the advantage.

I see Manny leaping a foot back and letting his hands go if that happens... and I really don't think Hatton will be grappling as much in this fight... Floyd is trying to teach him how to box and slip punches, and use angles... I think Floyds gameplan doesnt involve grappling..

      I just can't see it...

I think that would be Rickys best choice though, I think thats his strength...

i'm a ricky fan, but i'm reasonable here....I still think hatton's defense is suspect.....He will have better movement...and i dont see him bull rushing in predictable fashion like hes has been branded as to do.....I think you will see hatton throw some combos in this fight as well, which has abondened past few years...

the question I have is how will both men respond after the get caught by a bomb? will they stay focused....or become mentally raddled.

This is one example below, of how Pac recovers from a bomb. If Hatton handles a bomb as well, unlike in the PBF fight, then it will be a long fight.

I question how Pacman will take a clean hard shot from a strong guy at 140. Most likely he'll be fine, but I still question it.

Unlike in the PBF fight??? Floyd landed bombs all night long. When did Hatton get KO'd in that fight again??

If Pac gets knocked down against Hatton - he stays down. This aint no featherweight Pac's dealing with.

exactly i've seen hatton take some ugly shots and keep on trucking.....some of those shots were unecessary, if he can cut down on the uncessary shots he takes.....that will be huge for him.....i think pac will hold up fine from some bombs.... but i do believe hatton has potential to lay pac out cold if he catches him right....i'm not saying hatton is ko artist, but he has a higher ko% then pac and has above average power for jr. welter.....and pac has been hurt badly by a washed up barrera, larios, morales, and marquez....hatton has more power in his punches then those guys....you do the math...hatton can lay the pacman out if he connects on one perfectly.....simple math.
