It's just too easy to refute this bullsh.it

All the CSAC has to do is repeat whatever Team Margarito's wrapping process was with this "hand cream" used, and see if it dries up into some HARD blockish gauze like what they have in their possession.

Arum going to bat so hard for this guy looks really bad. Antonio must have him seeing $$$, it's the only thing that explains to me why he hasn't been the least bit critical of Marg and not taking up for Cotto.

I agree, but at the same time, you gotta see where it comes from : Boxing has always been a very Nationalistic sport. People root for those they identify with : Whether if it's for their racial makeup, the Country they were born in, or what have you.

I root for everybody who comes from Philadelphia because I identify with that. I came from there myself, and I love the City's history and tradition of boxing.

Same way Mexicans do with Mexicans, Puerto Ricans with Puerto Ricans, Brits with Brits, Pinoys with Pinoys, etc........

The problem only comes when you only root for those guys.

I agree. I'm Puerto Rican myself and if anyone I supported from PR did something like this I'd be totally ashamed. it's nothing about nationalities in this situation more than it just being a disgrace to the sport because many Mexican fans and fighters alike have showed disgust towards the whole deal.

Glad to see someone who's been in the mix shed a little more light on the whole ordeal besides the media.

LOL trust me dude, I'd rather have my fighter catch an L than totally be ousted out of the sport. Cotto is still making a living and fights June 13th, when's Margarito fighting?

                      this is a misconception

it never "hardened" to a brick. Several people at the hearing said that they were surprised how soft an pliable (sp) it was considering the reports from media and speculation. An expert hand wrapper told me when he touched it the pad was not at all what he expected.
