dan rafael (you know, that editor from a little network called ESPN) openly said that margarito is a CHEATER and that he "MOST LIKELY" cheated in the cotto bout
considering what a huge part of every sport espn represents, i think that i'd be safe to say that a big part of the boxing world thinks that he cheated against cotto
there's a huge difference between a "maybe" and a "most likely"
listen, at least my sentiment about this margarito matter is that he should be banned for life for cheating (having plaster in your hands 30 minutes before a bout IS considered cheating and premeditate assault attempt). there was a case in south africa earlier in 2008 exactly like marg (got caught just before the fight) and he was banned for LIFE. i really don't care about cotto getting a NC or some **** like some delusional fans want. i just want that the commission does the right thing on this and bans this cheater and criminal (according to the law system that your citing with the "pressumption of innocence, he is indeed a criminal) for lifeComment

In the end, it hasn't been"proven" in the Cotto fight. Keep crying, its still 33-Margarito.

It hasn't been proven Period! Lab results found plaster-like substances in his handwraps.
They said calcium and (sulfur) is in plaster of paris, but it's in a lot of other substances.
Those are the facts!Comment

i'll say it again so you can try fitting it to that little brain of yours: what margarito did is a CRIME punishable by that same law institution that supports that presumption of innocence you so vigorously defend in his case.
he's a criminal. criminals go to jail if they try to harm someone (mosley), regardless if it's improbable to prove that he's hurt people before (cotto)
your boy won't get his license back. good luck to him fighting for taquitos in el ranchoComment

Mellow check this out...
It also sounds like Arum is already plotting Margarito's comeback. During the press conference to announce the June 13 welterweight unification fight between Miguel Cotto and Joshua Clottey at Madison Square Garden, Arum suggested Margarito could fight the winner if his suspension is reversed.
It looks like Cotto will be Quitting again.
