Stlyistically this is really bad for Kostya Tzsyu, Mayweather by WIDE decision.

Mayweather is too good defensively and far too smart to not get nailed by a straight right hand, which is Kostya Tzsyu's primary weapon.

in part yes, but kostya has some of the best timing of any fighter i have seen. the best way to kill speed is with great timing.

I always felt if they would of met at 140, Mayweather would of defeated Tszyu. By using his speed, movement and timing to get a decision victory or a late stoppage win, but Tsyzu may have his moments in the fight.

Agreed. He was one of the few that could beat Mayweather. The only weakness Tszyu had was against tough, aggressive pressure fighters. He destroyed slick and cute boxers all day every day and twice on sunday.

You know who has even better timing? Yup, Mayweather does, plus he has the speed advantage. Mayweather would not put himself in positions very often that would make him vulnerable to a straight right, period. One thing that I know for certain, is that versatility is the best way to beat Floyd. Cotto has it, Oscar had it, Mosley has it and Kostya Tzsyu certainly did not.

you are severly underestimating the zoo at a buck 40. floyd is floyd. everyone knows that, but he would have a good chance of losing to kostya.

Ive always been 50/50 on this fight. Not with who wins but how Floyd wins. I think Floyd wins it but part of me thinks that he destroys Tszyu and the other part of me thinks that Tszyu could give him some real trouble and lose a close fight. In no way could Tszyu dismantle him like the thread starter says. 1st you have to remember that this fight would be at 140 and while Tszyu is a very big Jr. WW, he's still not big enough for Floyd to have to pot shot. That means that Floyd would be very aggressive in this fight. Im not saying that he goes all out on Offense but he would definatly not be a pot shot guy against Tszyu.

I also still stand by the fact that I truly beleive that there is virtualy no righty in history let alone right now that could hit a "prime" Mayweather with clean shots. I beleive he has truly mastered his D and you can only beat him by being so much bigger that he cant do anything but pot shot or you have to be a Southpaw. I just dont beleive that no one else is going to hit him clean if your a righty, no matter how good you are. Add that to the fact that Tszyu was slow like a zombie and I could see Floyd destroying him. The reason why I think Tszyu could possibly give him alot of trouble is that while its at 140, Tszyu was still a very big 140 pounder so he would have the size advantage and while he is slow, he does have great timing and a very explosive punch when he does decide to throw it. I could kind of see him outmuscling Floyd like he did Mitchell. Still, I think Floyd would have a little too much in that case and would still win a very close decision. If it happeneds the other way then Floyd dominates

I'm not underestimating him at all, In fact I have him at #10 on my best fighters of 2000-2009 list. I'm very well aware of his capabilities.

I just really think it's a clash of styles that Kostya would have a very hard time dealing with.
