show evidence of him holding and hitting all i have seen is his opponents attmepting to hold him and him punching with his free hand or with both to prevent it from happening

All I can say is that you must be a sleep when you watch him fight. First example, near the very end of the first round against Marcos Ramirez. Gamboa holds him around the neck while he hits him with uppercuts. Second example, I only watched one round of the Darling Jimenez fight, the second round, and guess what? It only took watching that one round to see him holding him around the neck and throwing uppercuts. Third and the most obvious is the fight with Roger Gonzales. I will not even attempt to name the outright fouls by Gamboa. Even Teddy Atlas stated, I believe it was in the round eight, that Gamboa uses a tactic, it is a foul, when the ref can not see him he holds the fighters head down and throws uppercuts. Gamboa did it in the last round and you can hear Teddy say there is that right uppercut as Gamboa does it again. You can see Gamboa doing it when he throws a bunch of punches and somewhere in that flurry he will grab around the neck and throw uppercuts. I am sorry but this is boxing and not the UFC and it is a foul that Gamboa uses all the time. And if you don't believe me just watch him and you will see him do it. And that is not even including how many times he goes in with a shoulder or pushes off, which he has been warned numerous times, and also pushing down on a fighter. In closing I will say that I have been watching boxing for the better part of forty years and I know a dirty fighter when I see one. And two things I don't personally like about fighters and that is being a hot dog showoff or a dirty fighter and in my opinion Gamboa happens to be both of them.
