who ya got in this? give reasons (keep it brief) and vote in the poll...

kirkland imo is the only guy who can beat williams right now, because imo he just has the right style. kirklan has an intensity that not many fighters have, he will get inside and if he can **** to the body he should be able to give williams problems and slow him down especially late in the fight.

williams has a jab and some good pop but not enough to keep kirklan off him, williams is good at using angles but imo kirklan's intensity and quick feet might just be too much.

maybe im overestimating kirland, overestimating his ability to execute a well thought out game plan, overestimating his footwork and body punching but if he can find a way to control his aggression and apply educated pressure i think he could well score a TKO over the punisher.

Williams by KO, kirkland would get hit too much. Kirklands defense is nothing special. Williams is slick, throws to many punches for Kirkland.

It would be a hell of a fight. If Kirkland gets by Sergiy Dzinziruk, which I remind everyone is no guarantee, this fight will need to happen late '09 or really 2010. As of right now, I'd probably lean towards Williams. They are both super aggressive so it would be a war but I think Williams is the better fighter to date. However that could change, Kirkland has two more fights lined up and we'll see if there are any improvements made in his game.

this is a good fight, but kirkland has to beat angulo first to make it financially viable

Don't know if Kirkland has the experience to know how to get inside those long arms without eating right hooks and straight lefts. Give em' a little more time, and we'll see if he's a brawler without strategy or not...of course I do give him a puncher's chance though, because if you can punch, you're in any fight.
