Lets see how many people line up to fight Williams now. I bet you he really will be avoided, he throws over 1,000 punches like Calzaghe. Now he can deal with the **** Calzaghe had to go through in his career. Though calzaghe was less known so he would have been a low-reward/high-risk type of fight.

welcome back larry. I rate his win about an 8 out of 10. good win, and a lot of ppl say that wasnt a prime winky, but it wouldnt of mattered. Williams is a bad match up for Winky.

I rate the win highly but i wouldn't go that far. Prime Winky had much better timing, superior foot speed and had the stamina and would have keet neutralizing all of those punches with his straight shots and jab. I would favor the Winky that fought Vargas over Williams. He let his hands go even when he was being out thrown.

I agree, Winky was game. I gave Winky the first round on my score-card. I actually thought he was going to school Williams after the first round, but then Williams adjusted and basically schooled a game Winky.

I agree he was a bit faster, but a guy Like williams with his freakish reach and height for the weight class along with the workrate in my opinion would be too much for prime winky. You could tell Winky wanted to counter, but he couldnt because Williams would not let up. It would def be a closer fight, but i think Williams would still get the decision..something like 8-4.

btw that vargas/wright match is very underrated. Great fight.
