Got a feeling the ref will be looking for all sorts of excuses not to let haye get him inside either.

Which, as I've been saying for a while now, will make or break the fight. If Haye does find the inside, he's got a very big chance of winning providing he's got a gameplan to follow up once he's there.

But the risks he'll have to take just to slip past Wlad's jab (and hope for the best) will be tremendous, and it's sad that the ref will possibly make it even harder...

I don't really see how this would work against Wlad...

Wlad's weakness is being overcautious. He's overcautious because he's nervous. Haye isn't making Wlad nervous now, he's making him angry. When Wlad gets angry he will probably throw the cautiousness overboard and go after Haye more.
So what Haye is doing now will work against him I believe. What he SHOULD be doing is making Wlad scared; making him nervous. He's currently doing the exact oposite.

I think Wlad is scared a little, most boxers are afraid in some way, but if you look at their confrontations, he cant get over how confident haye is. Haye shook him up right from escalator incident with the "Dont run, Dont run", he got him right there imo.

Haye is just obnoxous. I don't see why Wlad would be scared of him. Iy will be an easy fight for Wlad. I just hope all the Haye fans don't vanish after Wlad knocks him out.

And Haye could just as well have made a really nice T-shirt showing Wlad puffing for air and flopping about on the canvas like a fish out of water, 3 times.

It's been a long time since I said this but : I'm actually excited about a Heavyweight Title fight.

I know he'll likely get peppered with 18,000 jabs before Wlad finally decides it's safe to finish him off, but still......

You know what,I agree.I cant remember feeling remotely excited about a HW title fight in years.Haye may win,he may not,but at least he is generating a bit of a buzz about boxings highest division.
