A good mate of mine used to spar and drink with Downsey.. I've heard so many funny stories about him.. Apparently, he can't be taken anywhere.. He sits down, breaks off a huge cigar inside a pipe! Another one I heard don't know how true it is but sounds like Terry Downes. Apparently he was co-comentating on the 2nd Liston Ali fight with Eamon Andrews on the radio.
