oscar could have continued vs hopkins (he sort of quit)

Hopkins and Oscar fought at 156, it was part of De La Hoya's notorious "stacking the deck" routine.

So essentially, they were fighting at Junior Middleweight : Oscar's best division since his days at 147.

I know that extra 4 lbs was a disadvantage to Hopkins, and if it was a same day weigh in fight, I'd have zero problem with it. But there is no denying that Hopkins is one hell of a lot bigger man than DLH and looked so on fight night (where I'm sure he outweighed him by double digits.)

pac didn't drop oscar but oscar would have gone down if
they let it continue .. if not , oscar would have tried
to survive for the rest of the fight but he didn't
because he knew he couldn't ... the result would have been
he would been knocked out or TKO'd ....
whereas vs hopkins it looked like oscar
looked for aplace to fall down on ...
