The_Bringer's Meldrick Taylor Career Highlight Video

Fresh off the chopping block, son.

I don't think I did too bad, considering that every piece of footage I used in this came from one, single video : The episode of "Legendary Nights" on Chavez/Taylor.

I was going to make it a lot bigger, but as it turns out : Digging up videos on Meldrick for download is about as hard as locating the remains of Jimmy Hoffa.

Watch the high quality version for best results

That **** was good, Meldrick taylor whooped Chavez ass. Though Chavez did have the harder blows, but Taylor clearly outpointed him. And it should have gone to score-cards in my opinion. That fight reminds me of the lucian bute fight alot. Theirs no time left on the clock and both men beat the count.

          Glad you guys like it.

At first I was going to put the Chavez stoppage in there (even though I never agreed with it), but I didn't want to end the video on a downer.

So I decided to make the video a blinding display of his talents, and then just end very abruptly. Kinda like his run at the top.

Iono man, I think you should have. Sadly, people will remember Taylor mostly for those last seconds of the fight. I think his book is even called "Two Seconds Left", I may be wrong, though.

That's precisely why I left it out : Everybody knows what happened in the Chavez fight.

If I would've put the stoppage in there, it would have...

A.) Ended the video on a downer

              and

B.) Taken the discussion away from Taylor's unique talents, and instead, placed the dicussion on the stoppage once again.

I didn't want a whole page full of youtube comments of people battling back and forth over it was right or wrong.

I just wanted people to appreciate Meldrick.

I do too. But I can't take credit for it, that's all Benny Leonard right there.

He suggested it for a Hopkins highlight, but I used it for Meldrick instead.

Philadelphia Hip Hop is amazing stuff, but I'm not very schooled in it.
