He has already been in there with marg, corrales, baldamoir and judah so to me thats not someone who is avoided, also wasnt him vs marg a double header ppv with cotto vs calos q so its not like he has never been in a big fight. There was alot of hype going into the marg fight as it was a pickem fight. I like clottey as a fighter and think him and cotto is gonna be hard one to call! but i edge towards cotto outpointing him

His biggest fight has been the one with Margarito, the Corrales fight, let's face it 147 was definetely not Corrales weight class, the Baldomir fight he was dominating and got DQ for lowblowing and Judah hasn't been good since Cotto beat him up. Also his fight against Margarito was not a PPV double header it was a card on Showtime. I will agree Clottey has been there with some good fighters but I will disagree when you say he hasn't been avoided because he has been avoided, he was avoided by Cintron, he was avoided by Williams and Andre Berto because he has called all of them out and even started negotiations with Cintron. Anyway his fight with Cotto is a great one but I think Cotto takes it because Cotto is more accurate, and also Clottey style is to pressure, he doesn't have the workrate to throw off Cotto.
