He gets a 7 for chin. But a 10 for recovery skills.

7-8, I voted 8. It's above average, but not gr8. JMM has a durable chin and can hang in a tough fight wit a lotta contact, but he's vulnerable against bonafide punchers, hence the Pac KD's.

Considering that many Mexicans don't even protect themselves alot and fight like warriors and fight some of the best fighters it hard to argue they dont have a 10 when it comes to receiving punishment. I say anyone can be knocked out and the more he brawls and the better fighter he faces the more it will take its toll on them in their next fight and so on.

You can't compare a chins to fighters that dont face knockout opponents and have better defense and barely get hit. Its not like nobody can be knocked out.

Ye but that is kinda taking it abit far...its just basicly a question on out of all the big shots landed...how well has he taken em.....

Cos if u say that people are just gonna start bringing defence into it...no1 knows how good floyds chin really is, cos he never really gets hit with a great connecting punch. But out of what we have seen we would have to give an opinion on a scale of 1-10

Right, but I already gave him a ten. for my reasons above, but not comparing to other fighters, but more for who he's fought and the battle he's been through. Juan Diaz is a very good puncher and Marguez survived him. Nobody really a ten, but I says he's good enough for it.
