Who cares! They both did it to get a reaction from the fans, crowd and they both accomplished that ****.

It didn't bother me at all. They either did it to f^ck around with people's minds or because they are indeed a pair of *******s disrespecting their opponents and their nationalities.

being that quintana probably isn't racist tho, i would've given him props for being a showman....

no doubt it was floyd being "funny," but i've never heard him say anything disparaging towards mexicans, so depending on how thick your skin is, it could've been taken as "part of the show" or "disrespectful".....depending on your point of view.

had he said some **** like, "i'll never lose to a mexican," before the fight, and did it, i would understand the outrage......but he didn't so, i look at it as floyd putting on a show.

            I'm not offended by it

but it is somewhat condescending, if Floyd or Hatton really wanted to win over the Mexican crowd all they'd have to do is put on an exciting fight; no need to wear some dumb hat

I don't know would people see it as a sign of respect if Castillo came out wearing a
du-rag in his fight against Mayweather or a Brittish bobby hat when he fought Ricky

Mr boat buyer did it as a taunt, just like his trunk colors in that fight. Hatton does it in good taste, and I guess nothin bad has come of it yet.

I think Mayweather did it because the cinco de Mayo weekend and also because he wanted to get the Mexican PPV money, other people in his crew had "Mexico loves Mayweather" shirts on. Watever you think about Floyd he's not ******, he wasn't trying to piss off the Mexican fight fans IMO...He's all about the money and in Boxing Mexicans bring in a lot of loot.

Hatton did it to also win over the Mexican-American fight fans, it's not the first time a Brit does that. Michael Gomez changed his name from Michael Armstrong and his nickname is "the Irish Mexican" it's kind of funny that his favorite fighter is Wilfredo Gomez and that's why he changed his name, yet he comes out dressed in a Sombredo with a Mariachi band.
