No, it's not that he's small because he matches up well with a Cotto, Mosley, Berto, or anyone else in the division. People just want to see him fight the best in that division which for over a year and a half has been stacked. There's 4 different champions in that division and he hasn't fought any of them and about2 or 3 out of the 4 give him a really good fight and have the chance at beating him. It's not out of the question.

Mosley started at LW, Cotto and Berto are of a similar size. Neither are huge WW Mosley and Cotto are comparable in size to Mayweather the only difference is Mayweather keeps himself in shape after a fight, Cotto and Mosley balloon up in weight be it fat or muscle.

Mayweather doesn't, I don't think he'll be beaten anyway but considering he's a Welter he should either be fighting the best at 147 or the Top dog at 140 (the winner of Hatton/Pac) not Marquez.
