When the fight was first made, i was almost certain for a Taylor win. As the fight is drawing closer though, i am beginning to feel more confident of a Froch win, which i am now edging towards.

In training, he is actually using a defense, which come fight night, he must utilise in order to stand and counter Taylor. His stamina levels have improved, which i regard as better then Taylor's. If he can land plenty early, possibly rocking or going for a TKO by the 8th, he should prevail. Anything over 8 rounds, should see him jab to a decision, as winning on workrate is a must!

That being said, it depends on what Taylor turns up. It is Taylor that is the factor for an outcome of this fight.

It's hard to hold a spit bucket when you have gloves on your hands!!!

Taylor is the bigger man. I'm glad that someone else sees that. Taylor was a big middleweight and is more natural at 168. People say that Lacy isn't **** but the dude can recover well from big blows. Taylor is much bigger than Froch and will knock him out in 5 rounds!!!

To everyone who thinks Froch will "do the job" on Taylor, just watch the Rybacki fight - the one he had before Pascal, in the same year. Does that really look like someone who will beat Jermain Taylor of all people? Telegraphed punches, short range making no use of reach, plodding footwork, arm held low like a poor man's Roy Jones...

            Come on now.

As for KO ratio.. well again.. we have to factor in the chins and quality of all the opposition..

In Froch's case.. he has quite a few "stopped for the 1st time" on his record..
              So that suggests power..

Pavlik has KO'd more established fighters..

You know Taylor could win this fight and I don't dispute that..

But when people use an argument like "Taylor is motivated.. so That will make him win" It makes you wonder..
I mean So I guess Froch is NOT motivated??
"Taylor has been saying all da right things.. I think he is going to take it"
again.. Do words win fights??? Only in a spelling bee or a debate..

What I want is for someone to tell me WHY Taylor will beat Froch and HOW..
HOW? He will establish the double and triple jab that Pat Burns taught to him. Froch is good obviously or he would not be undefeated, but his first time stops are against a bunch of journeymen who train for him on two weeks notice. Be honest with yourself, Pascal is a no name with a strong home crowd draw and there are a million other fighters on the planet with the same home crowd. WHY? Froch has good power and decent skills. He is going to keep his left hand low and try to bait Taylor to counter with his right uppercut. A great plan that certainly can work, but Taylor is the only man in the sport to have gone 24 rounds with Bernard Hopkins. That gives Taylor an advantage over any fighter that he faces and any true boxing fan will recognize that as factual. I am pretty sure that after Froch realizes he is the smaller man he will keep his guard higher. But at age 31, if you haven't learned to keep your guard up then nothing is going to change. If Froch goes blow for blow with Taylor he will be knocked out in 5 rounds. Taylor will win because he has good power, excellent skills, very fast hands, and one of the most underrated chins in boxing. If Froch wins I won't be bothered because I like his dedication to promoting his fights, but honestly he reminds he of a super middle weight version of Daniel Eduardo.

a shot jeff lacy still had enough to knock jt down, froch isn't shot and the boy can punch, all he has to do is catch taylor once and then finish him off
taylor can be winning the fight on the scorecards but he always makes a mistake, one round is all it'll take froch
