Do ya'll feel it's safe to say Clottey is in essence a Winky Wright clone (albeit a younger, fresher Wright)and as such Williams will feast on him just as easily due to the style matchups? Or do you think Clottey can hang with Williams?

It's safe to say Clottey was owning Margarito prior to putatively injuring his hand, so they both have a Margarito "win" in some senses.

Is there anything Clottey can do to Williams that Winky couldn't do?

How does Clottey handle Williams 83 inch reach? And Williams arms are so thin that he can slip uppercuts that you won't be easily seen coming under Clotteys great guard.

I wonder if Clottey would even throw enough to be competitive.
He's a pretty good defensive fighter though.

Williams will win by UD, But in a decent fight, not a shut out like he did to Winky.

I think that ear muff/shell/peekaboo defense is tailor made for Williams as other people have mentioned elsewhere because Williams' arms are so thin and long they are perfect for getting over, through, and under that immobile defense to their target.
I don't see it being possible for someone with such a stationary defense to beat Williams. In order to beat him I think you need someone who is willing to move around and completely bob/weave out of the way of all his punches using great footwork, upper body movement, and head movement kind of how Quintana did in the first match.

The only people capable of doing that are probably Mayweather and Cotto. Cotto was already doing the same thing to Margarito and owning him prior to being dominated later on, but now that that fight is tainted we'll never know the truth so it's yet to be seen whether Cotto will be able to do a similar thing to Williams.

Mosley isn't fast enough anymore to maneuever out of the way of all Williams punches BUT I feel he has enough power to counter on Williams very porous defense and gain his respect and with enough huge over hand right counters I feel Mosley can KTFO Williams.

This fight is a nightmare for Clottey, These are the kind of fighters that makes Williams look good (like Vince Philips and Ronald Wright). Clottey is the man, but not the man to beat Williams.

peekabo defense won't work against williams... we already saw this w/ the winky fight. clottey is ****ed.
