To be fair he was probably asked for his opinion by a journalist, and replied to that. But the bit about Haye not being a real fighter with the implication that he thinks that he (Fury) is a better fighter than Haye, was ridiculous, considering their relative résumés. He makes Froch look almost humble by comparison.

Seems a little silly slagging off your countryman for no reason especially with the mouth that haye has. IMO Fury looks a bit ****, I mean he's only 20 and he is chubby as hell

**** sake this Fury is a tool.
He is also a **** pykey boxer.
Danny Williams needs to be picked as an easy over the hill fight for him and proceed to cave Tyson Fury's face in.

Well, the thing, none would deny i guess, is that this guy is becoming a "celebrity" really fast 5 pro fights - and he`s already the man who is talked about... Just imagine what will we read or hear in couple years (of course in case he will have an undefeated streak by that time)...

As for the Klitschko vs Haye:

Both guys can`t take big punches... But in Wladimirs` case, he had taken punches from bigger man, and he was never knocked out... He got up after every knock down of his career, so despite the majoritys` opinion that he`s a coward, he isn`t. Plus he hits twice as hard as every previous Davids` opponent...

As for Haye we can`t know about his endurance as only four fights of his entire career went to the second half...

So, i would say it is 80 to 20 that Wladimir dominates Haye Who wants to bet 1k on it?

I got nothing against Fury thinking Haye will be knocked out by Wlad fair enough, but to say he isn’t a real fighter despite being a former world champion seems a bit ******.

It was probably more a series of mumbles.

I've enjoyed reading these threads and there's 1 or 2 good ideas being put forward.. The best being from ATFsven.. Put him in with Williams! He'd have 2 different Tyson KO's on his record and the hype would generate a good earner.. In saying that, Fury just might cause a shock as it's fairly obvious that no one on here knows a great deal about him, myself included.. Well here's what I do know..
Tyson Fury is a Romany Gypsy traveller.. This explains why he doesn't back other UK fighters.. These boys are brought up to fight from a very early age in complience with the traditions of the bare knuckle game.. I'm not saying that this makes them skilled boxers, but it makes them very tough.. It also makes them disparaging of the more conventional fighters, hence the noise.. In fact, it would surprise me if Fury hadn't sharpened his tools at the Appleby Horse Fair a few times..
Just as a pointer, the last time that a Romany fighter made waves in the UK was about 20 years ago.. Johnny Frankham was a light heavyweight who wasn't bad, but if my memory serves me correctly, got banned for spanking the Ref!
So.. We can expect fireworks from Fury, if nothing else.. As for winning titles.. It's far too early to say.. Tye Fields Vs Fury would be very intriguing..
