My first ever PPV purchase was Cotto Malignaggi. Been watching boxing for 20 + years. Cotto is my favorite boxer, hands down. My first live fight was this past February, Cotto vs. Jennings. It sort of happened by accident. I was sitting around at work and a co-worker saw the ad in the paper and said "How about we go to this thing?" And I said, "Why not?" I paid $100 for very decent seats. Didn't care it was Jennings, and knew what the outcome would be along w/ the rest of the world, but all I can say is it was worth it. As cool as some of the undercard moments were, NOTHING compared to the moment Cotto hit the ring. DAMN. The place went nuts. On June 13th, it will be on another level, w/ the parade/atmosphere and all. (Mind you, I'm Dominican. I was an honorary Boricua for a day. We love Cotto too.) Someday, I want to check out a fight in Vegas. But MSG is the mecca for a reason. NY is NY. Period. Enjoy. Soak it up.Comment

Think there will be any Clottey fans in the house?? I know Josh is based out of NY but that place just goes NUTS for Cotto!!! I'm curious to see how that goes..
I saw the Cotto/Gomez fight at Boardwalk Hall w/ my boys last summer and it was def weird watching the fight and not being able to hear Lamps call the blows.. lolComment

Why leave NY?if you're strapped for cash you might want to consider renting a cheap motel out in jersey where there's trains that can get to inner Manhattan in 15 minutes. and you'll save hundreds of dollars on booking some sort of hotel in the city. PM me if you want to know more as I'm from nyc
Just hop on a cab to The Bronx and cop a hotel-motel-$50.00 a night.Comment

Ive been to Cotto-Mosley and Jones-Trinidad, at the garden... unreal experience...
Luckily I was able to compare Trinidad and Cotto today with the MSG crowd...
Cotto crushed Trinidad as far as how loud the fans get... it was deafening.Comment
