I watched the PW and Winky fight last night, and BHOP would beat PW IMO. BHOP is a master and skillful tactician who would give PW trouble. Hopkins wouldn't just hold PW (like Winky), but he'd headbutt him while holding him.

I think Williams should fight either Pavlik or AA before stepping up to Hopkins. But by the time PW gets to Hopkins, it might be too late and Hopkins will already have retired. Hopkins should be getting ready to fight soon right? Have Hopkins fight somebody to get sharp, while PW fights to get more points. And by the end of 2009 they might be able to fight each other.

That's my theory anyway. Even though PW seems to be the real deal, i still think Hopkins would get to him. I don't think Hopkins would give PW the kind of respect he gave Taylor.

He needs to fight Pavlik first, then maybe unify with Arthur Abraham. Then when he has proven himself properly you can talk about moving up to SMW and LHW.

Williams is not a great matchup for Hopkins, volume puncher & southpaw
But Hopkins is clearly to big for Williams... unless he can chow done on some Miracle-Grow and get to 175 since I don't see Hopkins making MW.
