Floyd is asking JMM to jump up two weight classes to fight him. JMM, who will be 36 if they fight, a pro for 16 years, a guy who was fighting at 130 last year. Floyd says he can't make 140 anymore. Well guess what? That makes him a WW. Why not fight the best WW in the world? Especially when you call yourself the best fighter that ever lived.

All he would need is a tune up fight against a tall WW. Maybe he could fight Demetrius Hopkins at 147?

I agree with you that he should fight Williams/Cotto/Mosley or some top flight welter if that is indeed what he is but right now JMM has called out Floyd and Floyd has said if you want it come and get it.
