I could swear I remember you talking up the JR sometime in the last few times.

You think a lot of things.

He has two mega fights left; Ricky Hatton at his wonderland, and JCC Jr. in Mexico.

Ricky Hatton does equal money. Maybe Hatton moves up to 154lbs?

JCC Jr + Mexico = Wins = redemption through the eyes of us Mexicans and retirement in peace. Only way I see it really.

If he still wants to fight. Then the Logical choice will be the PBF rematch. Although the 1st was boring, Name recognition alone will guarantee 1 Million buy. 24/7 circus with Floyd will hype & sell the fight. Retirement fight for DLH guarantees his old diehard fans will still tune in.

My second option is Chavez Jr. If DLH need a must needed Win for his last fight, then this is the fight he'll take. If he cares more about Money then PBF got his Money rematch.

None-risky, moneymaking, tune-up fight for Mayweather.

Chavez Jr., makes the most sense. It's also the most winnable fight for Oscar.

Oscar MUST fight Hatton. Next summer.

the logical fight for Oscar (who is not shot, he was just badly prepared against MP) is to fight Hatton. At Wembley. Summer 2010. A final fight for both of them.

Now you lot will all say rubbish (actually I suspect you'll hurl insults and swear a lot, as that seems to be the general norm on here), however, think about it, if you will.

Oscar CAN make WW. However, he needs to be well prepared and trained in a textbook fashion. His camp for the Manny fight was, quite frankly, a disgrace to those involved and to boxing as a sport.

Hatton CAN go up to WW again, no issue there, ok, his favoured weight is LW but come on, even I know that 140 is too much for Oscar. It's WW or bust.

Now then, this is the cherry on the cake, and the reason why it’s the only suitable fight for Oscar. MONEY.

Just how much money would be generated by this fight? And don’t dismiss it that no one would want to see it after his last performance against MP, that’s total cr@p. Fans, boxing fans, would flock to see this. The two biggest names in terms of popularity and PPV in boxing today. 100,000 people live. Air it on Sunday night, 10pm GMT/BST so it's on Sunday afternoon in the States. This has to be the best option, it would be an EVENT both sides of the pond.

Both are Goldenboy, so it's easy to get on. Both have previously expressed an interest to fight, and indeed had Oscar beat Manny (which had he been properly prepared, he would have, easily) then we'd all be looking forward to it right now instead of Ricky fighting Manny.

This, clearly, IMO, and again, I expect little, if no, agreement, is THE MOST SUITABLE option for Oscar de la Hoya.
