I read on somewhere here on boxingscene an article that they were being offered too little for a 4th fight so they decided not to go with it. I read it was something like $1 mill, I forgot really but they didn't like it.

Yeah this is true. I cant believe HBO or Shotime dont reward those guys w/ at least 5 mill each.
If you put that **** at Staples it would sell out and the PPV would sell like a mother****er..
Vazquez is trying to recover from a detached retina but it's not looking good for him, Marquez has reportedly been suffering from dizziness when he's in the ring so not good for him either although I've read that he could be coming back in a couple of months. But I doubt they'll ever be the same if they do come back.
At least $3 Mill each. Let's not forget these guys are not main******, you can't go down the street and ask "are you going to order that Vazquez vs Marquez IV PPV?"....."Who?" the ppv can do somewhere around 400,000 with hardcore fans alone. If it was well promoted to casual fans then I'd say around 600,000-700,000 PPV buys if they're lucky.
It's looking like Corrales and Castillo for Vasquez and Marquez. The three fights did take its toll on them so its likely that they will retire before something bad happens. They did give one great trilogy to boxing.
