I agree. He wants to retire undefeated instead of giving the fans what they want.

      lol

I don't buy Goosen's bull**** about nobody wanting to fight him. Most of the idiots on this forum do though. Whatever a promoter says they buy.

Goosen is clearly playing up the nobody will fight him crap.
This made me laugh also, they sure are targeting the biggest challenges out there in senior fighters. I dont try to take anything away from Williams, he's an excellent fighter, but this is ridiculous. These fighters in their primes wouldve made sport out of Williams.

I heard Dawson is willing to drop down to 168 for the right challenge, how about him and Williams get it on. Id pay to watch that. He could also fight the winner/loser of Abraham vs Pavlik if this fight comes through later this year. These ARE prime fighters...

Yeah I'm not exactly sure what they are trying to prove by attacking fighters who are visibly trying to just garner one last payday before retirement. It's getting absurd.

He needs to settle at JMW or MW, clean out the division, become a true undisputed champ and reign supreme until he becomes the most sought after commodity.

Like me, right now I'm at the welterweight limit (probably can go to JWW, but hey), I'm 5'7. If I was at a position of prestige, why the heck would I fight that guy. He's got 7" height advantage, and his reach far eclipses mine. It just doesn't make sense. You do it for the glory, sure...but a guy like RJJ or Shane Mosley, like I said...there really isn't more glory to add now.

Add in the fact he brings no fan base, no money.

I think the real problem is that Goosen is poorly marketing him. Obviously nobody cares that he is "the most avoided/feared man in boxing". It was apparent that he isn't ready to headline a Las Vegas event. He's still young, plenty of time to really make that money. He really needs to get an appeal.

How old is Antonio Margarito? How old Miguel Cotto? How old is Kelly Pavlik? How old is Arthur Abraham?...

maybe some of you guy would call me crazy, but i'm bretty sure jones would kick jones ass. calzaghe was too quick for jones at this stage, but jones is still much faster with single shots than williams, and more powerfull

*****... I don't know which would be more brutal. Roy against Adamek or Williams. Both would stop him now.

Jones would have Tyson Fury in his corner.
