Chagaev vs. Valuev Rematch To Take Place on May 30

The rematch between undefeated Ruslan Chagaev and seven-foot Nikolai Valuev will take place on May 30, with three possible venues being considered. At the purse bid held in Vitoria, Spain, Sauerland Event, who handle Valuev, outbid Universum $2,814,414 to $2,164,660. Two venues in Germany and one in Finland are in the running to host the fight. Both have looked poor recently specially since Chageav was ill, this will probably be a boring fight with the winner to fight Ruiz in a boring fight.

Let me guess, John Ruiz gets the winner.

That is precisely what will happen.

I hope Chaggy takes it, but then it'd be nice to see Vitali KO Valuev. I'm just not sure there's a ring that'll handle em.

I dont even think Id watch this fight, period. Every Valuev fight Ive seen has been boring as ****. Except when he KO'd Owen "What the Heck" Beck, and that was because it was only three rounds.

Hopefully Valuev wins and we can see Vitali beat his ass.

Good thing this fight is happening. Now Vitali doesnt have to waste his time fighting either one. Vitali could now go and Fight Chris Arreola. Hell yeah Good News!!!!

This is going to be a borefest, but at least the title will be in the hands of a more credible fighter than the borefest that is Valuev.
