I Honestly Think That Floyd Is Scared To Come Down

Its what Ive been saying the whole time. I think you guys arent looking at the big picture. Youre looking at it as a 1 fight thing but Floyd is thinking of the big picture. He could definatly come down & fight a JMM and or Pac but then what? More then likely he will finish his career at WW and I honestly think that he wants a match with Mosley and may be seriously thinking about fighting Cotto. If he came down in weight I think he's scared that it may hurt him when he tries to go back up.

Coming down wont affect Floyd at all for the JMM fight but he's not Paul Williams. He's a very small WW. Even in his last fights before he retired he was still coming in the ring small on fight night. He'll never ever be close to a full blown WW but I think he feels that he's at the Max that he can be at WW right now and if he goes down and comes back up then he's scared that he may be starting at ground zero again. He could probably fight a Shane Mosley at WW right now and hang but if he came down to 140 and then went back up to WW then he may feel real small again and Shane's punches may be a shock to his system. I beleveive that he is truly afraid of that. He's just now getting use to WW and now he will have to start all over again?

Also, I do think people are overreacting with all of this. Again, I think Pac and even JMM are way bigger then you guys give them credit for. Its not like there moving up to fight Williams, Margarito, or Cotto. Floyd wont be physicaly way bigger then them. Pac was as big against Oscar as Floyd has been at WW and JMM was much bigger in the Diaz fight then people are acting like. Shoot, Diaz is a big strong LW and JMM Knocked HIm The **** Out! He carried that weight very well. It doesnt bother me though because I honestly would rather have Floyd go straight to Pac if he won. Thats why the negotiations have probably stalled. Floyd is thinking about going straight to Pac but is scared that Arum & Roach may try to go a different route, which would leave him without a fight and then he would wish that he did fight JMM. Seriously though, I think Floyd can beat a Mosley right now but if he went down to 140 and then tried to fight Shane or Cotto then I would be really worried

I've been saying that. Why would Floyd Mayweather Jr. have to build himself into a WW body again? That is alot of hard work and for who...JMM?! Listen, if he does decide to fight JMM at 140, then he should forget fighting a WW and I don't have a problem with that.

You really think he can comfortably make 135 again?

I thought he'd be able to make 140 ok, but he hasnt fought at lightweight since what? 2004?

Floyd needs to go up to Heavyweight and fight Wladimir Klitschko then retire.

I want to see Paul Williams/Mayweather at 147 now. Unless Paul says it would kill him to make weight now. And I don't see that as Paul avoiding Mayweather because Paul has python Arms 83 inch reach, I don't know anyone at 147 who would want to fight The Punisher.

I would be, too. Why give someone as crafty as Marquez any more of a chance than you need to?

Afraid of Marquez in THAT way? No. Afraid of draining himself, worrying about weight again and losing his advantage? Sure.

OKay, but if I buy a boat. And I spend 21 million, and I own it for a year, then I sell it for 24 million, is that not a great investment?
