Will Paul Williams Do A Guillermo Jones?

Williams is huge. The guy has the size to make it up to Light Heavyweight and possibly beyond. I don't know how successful he'd be against the top fighters at 168, 175 and cruiser, but his height and frame would allow for him to move up.

Guillermo Jones is now a successful Cruiserweight title holder but he started his career at Welterweight. He is the same size as Williams but has lesser reach. He has beaten guys like Wayne Braithewaite, Kelvin Davis and (most recently) Firat Arslan.

Paul seems like he takes a great shot and he has an awesome work rate. Could any of you see him succeeding at very high weights like Light Heavyweight or Cruiserweight? I don't think it's out of the question, especially considering Jones has already shown it can be done.

    That's Jones after beating Arslan.

i think the highest he will go is supermiddle, i doubt he will go up to light heavy b-hop will retire soon which leaves dawson, johnson, tarver and jones as the top contenders there are a few others who will be better but there is no need for him too, many people think he would loose to pavlik and AA (personally i think he has a good chance). im pretty sure he wouldnt go to cruiserweight as there is hardly no competition.

he will go down to fight people like cotto mosley or mayweather eventually, he wants to beat the best

No doubt. It's crazy that he can move up and down in weight like he does. You're right about him having the most competition at 147, 160 and 168...I don't think he'd move up that high either but it's cool to have a guy around who could perform such a feat.

A Dawson fight at 175 could be nice if Williams keeps doing well at lower weights though. Both guys are top fighters and they're young enough for it to happen down the road.
