Paul Williams: Stamina is no issue, I run 7 miles a day.

Congratulations on a dominating victory. Your promoter Dan Goosen mentioned you threw 104 punches in the first round and 105 in the eleventh round and 106 in the twelfth. Were you surprised you were able to keep up that pace?

    P. Will: "Stamina I wasn't worried about you know what I am saying. I run 7 miles everyday in training camp. I was surprised there was that many punches being thrown. I thought I came out and was popping my jab but hey the stats don't lie."

It has to be something else than conditioning.

Jeez, 1000+ punches is insane. It can't be from purely running, right?

I mean, in the Clottey/Margarito fight, the commentators mention that Clottey runs 12 miles a day, yet you don't see him throwing that many. But then again, I can't recall final punch stats for any Clottey fight.

He was doing a lot more than just popping his jab. Williams stamina is tremendous, yet he is so skinny.

this kid is just phenomenal!!! 7 miles everyday... its a lot!! and more for a guy as big as he is...

also fighting @ 160 had to do with it! and winkys D- style... its pretty easy to keep throwing when you dont have to cover your self that much while throwing

His stamina is mostly because of how loose he is in the ring. Even the way he throws his punches looks more relaxed than most. Ouma is another guy who runs a ****load, but is also cool as ice in the ring.

How many miles does PBF run a day? Even when he has no fight. I'm sure he said he does 10 miles or something?
