Paul Williams vs Kelly Pavlik @ 160

I'm convinced 160 is the place for Williams to be. He filled in great at that weight and is very active. My only concern with him is I'm not sure how hard he really hits because Winky took some shots and he kept coming forward. Now obviously Winky's been known to be a tough dude, but you wonder how he'll hold up against a guy like Pavlik who has proven to have raw natural power at 160. Though I think Williams' workrate could cause problems for Pavlik, it would be interesting to see how Williams takes Pavlik's punches in those exchanges Williams suckers people into.

He's fine at middle-weight. He doesn't need to be a knock-out artist at that weight, he is however hurting his opponents enough at that weight that they don't constantly throw back. He would give Pavlik Hell from all kinds of angles that Pavlik probably didn't even know existed. Angle their and Angle their, oh **** wheres Williams?

I think it's not the best matchup for Williams.

Kelly won't get to deterred from Williams' punches cause Williams doesn't really hit that hard.

And Paul's chin WILL get tested. If Paul can take flush shots from Pavlik, he could outwork him. But Pavlik doesn't just stand there like Winky was and Pavlik can fight from a distance too.

Tough, Tough fight. It all hinders on how Williams handles getting hit flush by Pavlik cause we know Pavlik isn't getting hurt.

Dude, Williams' work rate is way better than above average.

It could possibly be the best work rate I've ever seen.

I think Pavlik would win by UD. With Williams putting up a heck of a fight

fighting at 160 is diffrent, you dont know how his chin will hold up at 160, and his workrate would have to go down cause you cant just throw a lot against pavlik, he beats you down and knocks you out late, but i dont think i should have said easy, it wont be a easy fight.

that workrate would work well keeping pavlik off of you

Not just the work-rate, but Pwills shows some odd angles when he fights
