    -Arreola

Has the punch placement, the accuracy, and the power. But if he was cut from a leaner cloth, I think he would truly be a beast. Even in this slugish lookin demeanor, he knows how to throw and land, again. Now if his punches would cut faster, he'd be the OBVIOUS favorite in the Heavyweight division. There would be no denying him. But that baggage does look like it's holding him back slightly.

But **** how good he can look, it's all about how much faster he can get, and how much more stamina he can acquire. His only flaw is that he looks like he punches through quicksand early in fights. But his reflexes and his reaction time is well on point. It seriously looks like the weight is slowin him down somewhat. If he got on some serious **** to sharpen his game, he'd be a beast.

I like Arreola, pero tiene que dejar de comer tacos y tamales bro.

He needs to drop like 30 Pounds and get in ****ing shape. And he needs to improve his movement some, to have a chance agaisnt the Gayschko Bros!!!!!!!

Arreola needs to step up a level before any real assessment can be made. Stick him in with Chambers, or one of the real European contenders like Povetkin or Dimitrenko. If he can knock one of those guys over, fair enough, but I can't rate anybody for "punch placement" and "accuracy" when the target is a stationary flab-bucket. It's all very well having the punch to KO Haye or Wlad, but I suspect both would easily take him out with their own bombs long before Arreola managed to land one.

lol Honestly, I'd like less PR's and more intelligent posters to respond...but for the most part, YES.

Chris does need to add some suffiency to his fight game. Dude punches like he's in quicksand when you can blatantly see how quick he naturally want's to get his punches off. He's got lightweight/welterweight hands...Only problem is that he's slightly too slow.

I was not impressed with Arreola. I dont even think McCline was that hurt, he just didnt want to be in there anymore, its not the first time he quit. McCline is known for being discouraged easily, plus he was semi-retired and way past it. Guess he figured fuck it, why bother going on, no need to take a beating. Thats just my opinion though..

But still, Arreola did what he had to do, can't take that away from him. And I agree with Steward, Wladimir would be forced to fight Arreola, he wouldnt be a punching bag that Wladimir is used to fighting.

Im PR and I agree with you about Arreola. I like this guy. I like his attitude and I like his style of fighting. He throws nice combos and has impressive power. He is also vulnerable, which makes him more exciting. I would like to see him lose AT LEAST 20 pounds. He could be a lot sharper if he took off some of that weight. As someone else said, too many tacos y tamales. He sometimes looks sloppy and slow and he could probably fix that if he took training more serious. As of right now I don't think he has a chance against the Klitchkos. BUT...I would rather watch Arreola fight any day of the week I like his style.

Can't help but get reminded how great and how fast Mike Tyson was. The heavyweights today are so slow and too calculating. Mike would have destroyed Arreola in 1 round. The heavyweights suck.
