So why should he fight a tune up at 140, when he has no intentions of staying at that weight in the future. If he wants a fight at 147 with Marquez, it shows us his intentions of staying at 147. If Marquez dont want to move up, then the fight shouldnt get made. After all this is a tune up.

    I think Floyd's finding it difficult to get a good, recognised fighter for a tune up at 147 hence why he considered Marquez. Imagine if Floyd decided to take on Berto for a tune up; Berto's career would take a huge blip if he losses to him.

    He's trying to find a good fighter to face for a tune up who has nothing to lose in the fight. The same way DLH used Forbes as a tune up last May. Forbes had nothing to lose, the same way Marquez has nothing to lose in this potential fight.
