I think it's safe to assume Paul Williams destroys Cotto, and any other WW of JMW out

I am a Cotto fan but he dont want Paul. You have to be extremly fast with hands and feet to box Paul or to be able to take huge shots to get inside. Cotto headhunted all night v margs but pwills head movement is difficult to time. Plus he throws from every possible angle. How about that uppercut across his other arm?!?!?!?. Cotto is too small. No we can't beat Paul, including the retired one (who wouldn't fight him for a hundred million dollars probably)

Do you remember when Quintana fought Cotto? Everyone was saying that Quintana is exrtremely fast and the only way Cotto is going to beat him is to get inside and that was going to be very hard. What did Cotto do? He beat Quintana to the punch and knocked him around the ring. After the fight Quintana said that Cotto was one of the fastest he has ever faced and one of the hardest punchers also. lets not count Cotto out yet!!!

I think a seperation needs to be made between Winky wright's weight and his size. Winky Wright just fought Paul Williams at middleweight. He is in no way a true, solid middleweight, though. He was really more at home at 154, and that's where his power stems from. Even at junior middleweight Winky never had much pop.

What I mean to say is, yes, Paul Williams just beat a skilled, yet aging, tactian at middleweight. He didn't have to exert his output and impress his size on a fighter with skills and decent power. Honestly, there's a good chance Cotto or Mosley would bring more danger to Paul's chin.

I think people are equating the Wright win for the Punisher as being proof he can hang with even the boys at 160. I've never considered Winky one of those boys, though - who didn't feel Wright would have gotten a clear victory over Jermain if he'd been just a bit South of 160?

So, I'm not going to say Paul would have an easy time with Cotto, Mosle, etc.

I think the Margarito fight was a good yard stick. He won a close decision against a man with size, never dominating, but managing to slightly outwork his opponent to get a tough win.

That's what I think he'd be up against with many of the top boys at 147 lb. even now.

Are you comparing Carlos Quintana to a 6"2 87 inch reach Williams?

Yes, the Quintana that got to Williams. That Quintana.. He is only 5'9 1/2 " and he got to Williams. Remember Tyson? Every person he faced was taller than he was and what happened?
