paul is very active and hes fighting another old guy (last 2 opponents were 38 and 39).

Hopkins would wobble Paul with lead straight right hands down the pipe all night, and then tie him up so he couldn't get any of that "shoeshine" bull**** going.

People would say it was boring, but an old man like 'Nard can't let a young gun like Paul flurry on his ass. Even if he blocks a majority of the shots (like Winky did), he'd still lose the round on activity.

So 'Nard would lead with the right hand, follow it with the left hook perhaps, clinch Paul, smother his output, do some dirty boxing on the inside, and repeat.

If this fight was for real, clinching and movement would be key for Hopkins.

Bernard doesn't do his best work against younger, offensively minded fighters with fast hands. Which is exactly what Paul is.

So he'd need to use his lateral movement to create space, and jump in on Paul at angles, which would confuse Williams, because he's never seen anything like what Hopkins could show him.

He's also need to smother that output, to prevent Williams from getting a lead on the scorecards. And rough him up inside.

Paul seems mentally weak to me for some reason. I don't think he'd know how to deal with a really gritty, old school cat who would rough his ass up on the inside.
