McCline was just in it for the pay check. He had no intentions of actually going in there and trying to win the fight. He saw his chance for an exit when he went down and took it.

I was impressed by Arreola tonight. I've always thought he was exciting in the ring and he has potential to do some big things. Really I don't think the weight is a big deal since he's so young but I can only imagine if he came in at a ready 225 or 230.

Yeah man, he's winning these fights but it would be in his best interest to lay off the tacos and horchata, at least during training camp.

McCline didn't really come to fight tonight, and I hate saying that. I like Jameel (as a person) and am disappointed on how he performed tonight. With that said, it was a decent performance by Arreola. The shots to the body were prudent early on and those overhand rights were doing some damage. He starting throwing those uppercuts in the second and that took McCline's best move (the clinch) away from him. He has the style to beat the Klits, but not the head movement to get inside nor the conditioning to deal with the clinches and power shots. Arreola will go as far as his ego takes him. Right now his ego hasn't let him down, but it will. He won't take his career serious until he loses or is embarrassed.

Arreola needs to work on his defense. He makes a lot of mistakes and I don't see him beating David Haye or the Klitschko's. Pretty exciting fighter none the less.
