Just because he wouldn't be considered the greatest technical fighter of all times, doesn't mean he didn't have a skillset.

Because he is consistently top ten all time at heavy and all time, means he isn't overrated at all.

His skillset carried him places very few could ever go.

Hell Ali's jab was better than most guys complete skillset.

That is what I keep telling these guys that say that the fighters today are better than the fighters of yore.

There are some intangibles that makes a fighter great and that cannot be trained or learned.

Dude you are claiming his technical skillset is overrated, but irregardless of what you think, he skillset overall is one of the main reasons he consistently ranks in the top 5% to 10% all time and at heavyweight. Not to mention this guy beat more a, b, and c fighters in their prime than anyone you care to name.

Do you know what that means. It means you could plop him down amongst these current heavyweights or the era of heavys before his time, and he is going to do the exact same thing with the overrated technical skillset you think he has.

Did you even watch any Ali fights prior to Frazier? Or are you one of these guys who just make far fetched assessments based on watching a few fights on Youtube?

Outdated wtf are you even talking about. Today's fighters are too scared to even fight each other. 9 paper champs that don't fight each other is what boxing is today.

Its easy to look like a technical genius when all you fighting is guys thats tailor made for you. They get hit one time and all that technical skill you hollering about goes out the window.

Be honest. You watched Ali's post exile fights where he relied heavy on experience and think you onto something.

Ali's footwork alone is better than this current crop of heavyweight's entire skillset.

Naw fam you need the help because you in denial.

You put outdated (lol) Ali in a time machine 2022 in his prime, and bet the ranch he is favored over any current heavyweight you care to mention.

Ali's fients would have 'em looking dumbfounded. His trash talk would have them confused before the first bell rings.

Ali was the real champ, not some beltholder who cherrypicked the same style fighter.
