Winky Wright tactics for tonight's fight, here are somethings I think he can implement to win the fight.

1) Don't Square up: Winky can't get straight on with williams because thats where williams makes the reach and workrate count. He needs to be in the position where he can step off and counter.

2) Move away from the lead whilst pumping the jab: Angles is what beats williams, as said above, winky's gotta keep outside of the line of the straight pumping the jab from angles.

3) Timing: Williams doesnt move his head much. Winky needs to step to the side away from williams left lead, pump the jab, when williams is about to do one of his 1-2 combinations, winky needs to time him with the straight left from the angle.

4) Dont back Up: As said above, step off the jab, wait for williams to commit, time the left, keep moving laterally as much as possible. If Winky gets caught on the ropes, he wont be as effective when williams lets his hands go.

5) Left Hook inside up top: Again, williams doesnt see the punches as well when they are coming to his right side, when inside, try to slip in the left hook up top.

nice analyis, my views are condensed into one simple view: Winky is a better fighter than Williams, regardless of ring rust or anything like that. I believe Winky is a special fighter, I don't think Williams is that, despite being a world class operator himself.

I'll have 5k on Winky if anyones up for it, it's not like Williams is Tyson Fury or anything.

if winky is on point, he's got the best timing in boxing....timing is everything......its also something that gets affected badly by ring rust.....hope he can pull it off...

Everything Winky does works off the right jab, so he's gotta use it a lot. He needs that punch to disrupt Pwill's flow of punches. When Winky opts to do it, he ain't a bad body puncher either. That's sumthin else that'll help him imo. Pwill's taller and longer, so Winky should try to stay close, and also use the uppercut when he can.
