yes, that was some years ago. And as if manny didn’t improve tremendously since way back then. Team ricky shouldn’t be looking back in time. Manny had overgrown those KO’s, struggles, difficulties, clumsiness, one-hand slugger, low body mass and what have you. Manny is very different now.

If HBO judges opinions matter to you so much answer me this....

You think Jermain beat Bhop twice???

        Casamayor beat Santa cruz?

        Oscar beat Sturm?

        Tito beat Oscar?

        didn't think so

Boxing judges are some of the most idiotic people on the planet.. Them and weather people are the only people I can think of who can be wrong 50% of the time and still have their jobs

I wouldn't call him all that different... He's not as clumsy, uses good foot work (Against the likes of Diaz and old De La Hoya), and has a right hand... None of what you states has anything to do with how Manny will fight against a rough, pressuring style!!! Too many people want to make it sound like Pacquaio is going to box like Floyd does... Pacquaio has above average boxing skills, but how will he fight someone who comes at him full speed ahead, gets in and likes to rough opponents up... Who has Manny fought since Sanchez that has a similar style to Hatton??? NOBODY!!!! That was my point. Hatton's going to bumrush him, rough him up, and wear him down with body shots... Can Manny adapt to that, who knows.. But I don't think anyone with any type of objectivity can say Hatton's going to be easy work.... Floyd and Pacquaio have competely different styles...

1st fight could have been called a draw and be ok with it...but yes....i do think Taylor beat Bhop twice.

No i dont think Casamayor beat Santa Cruz

Yes i think Oscar beat Sturm

Yes i think Tito beat Oscar.

Being a judge of anything can be a tough job. Try judging a wet tshirt contest at your local bar or club and see if half the place dont think you're a douche by the end of the night.

All you saw in the manner he's been hit was just results from the natural impact of the puch of course, but you can not tell those punches are effective unless he was down, no response from the barrage of punches or he give up the fight. But while he was standing and gave toe to toe to his opponent, those shots he receives are considered ineffective!
Its kinda hard to interpret what ur trying to say but I'll give it a shot...

                1) when you are hit damn there through the ropes by a 130 lber (Morales 1 round 1) and backpedal, the response is due to the fact he is hurt

                2) In both bouts with Marquez, another jr. lightweight, he was wobbled, quite badly in the second fight...

                3) Ineffective punches do not cause cuts like Pacquaio got in the Marquez rematch (Round 4)

                4) Just because a fighter doesn't go down means nothing!!! Go see end of Corrales-Castillo I for proof... Castillo, like Pacquiao, has strong legs and prevents them from going down as easy.. Doesn't mean that they can't be hurt, KO'd, etc, that these r the type of fighters that ar pummeled in the corner

The questionwasn't directed towards you but since you answered it, here it goes

Neither of the two fights taylor won, ESPECIALLY the first... everyone knows it, and judging by the looks on their faces Taylor and dibella knew it too

Oscar no way beat Sturm.. Effective punching and control of the fight is what wins... oscar had neither

and if you thought Oscar lost to Tito then you need ur eyes checked.. Tito won 4 rounds...period

and I think that professional judges should be expected to judge a fight better then I can judge a wet tshirt contest... Boxing has criteria that one is suppose tojudge a fight by, wet tshirt contests don't... You make think one girl is gorgeous and I make think she needs bigger ****... Really not a good comparison

i am objective in my comments and i have my choice of a boxer, just like you. we both champion our hero and we argue for and defend them. i am aghast with people who did say that ricky is a piece of cake for manny - preposterous and childish! my equation shows reality is far from it! I exalt manny’s advantages over ricky, as I perceived it, and never belittled ricky’s prowess and/or accomplishments. I even stated in one thread that manny should be the underdog here, and perplexed to see the vegas odds now standing at 2:1 in pac’s favor. One thing is most definite…. this fyt will be veeeeeery good whatever the outcome will be. cheers…
