Williams also had a 10 inch reqch advantage on Quintana.........

And had no problem tagging him repeatedly lol.. I dont see why Winky will when he has a better jab and str8 left than Quintana...

    Williams is overrated...

    Signature wins are...

    Quintana and Margarito.....

    THATS IT?? LOL

    Tito
    Taylor
    Mosley twice
    Bhop
    Quartey
    Vargas

Man, only if Winky had a little more experience...

I dont think Paul figures out the Winky puzzle tomorrow... Str8 lefts all day countering Pauls sloppy off balance pitty pat punches

Even tho I'm a fan of Pwill, I don't mind sayin he could never beat a prime Winky. I'll still give him props if he pulls this off, but that would pretty much just mean Winky is past it imo.

Taylor and Vargas demonstrated how to beat Winky: pound shots into his gloves and they'll eventually get through. Mosley was too small to do damage and Trinidad didn't punch enough. Williams has a better workrate than Taylor and Vargas. I think he can pound through Winky's guard and beat him up more so than Taylor did.

why exactly? do you not think Williams is on the level of Fernando Vargas or Jermain Taylor when they fought Winky? Stylistically, a guy like Williams is the worst opponent for Winky. Winky can't get his respect with any punch because he's not the bigger man and he won't be able to keep Williams off of him.

I won't be surprised if either guy wins, but the more I think about it, the more Williams is a bad matchup for Winky. This isn't Sam Soliman swinging hopelessly away. It's a guy with knockout power and more pressure than a featherweight on speed

I dont think hes overrated but i do think hes still alittle green. I think down the line hes gonna have problems against fighters with superb boxing skills who can move around and get inside and be slick about it. Add to that a good chin and power and that could be a logistical nightmare for him.

You make a good point. Boxing isn't all about physical attributes...the bigger part of the battle is in the individual skillsets of the fighters and how well they can implement them in a given situation. Regardless of reach and height williams will NOT just walk through winky wright. If he had a tough time with quintana's southpaw stance and movement in their first fight he will definately have to think of something quick when he's matched with winky's jab, high guard, and superb countering abilities.

Sure williams will throw more than winky...but will he land the better shots? Let's find out tomorrow. This is gonna be an interesting fight.

To be fair he rarely does, kinda like chico with less power imo, and an unproven heart.....better chin though
