I'll tell them that Calzaghe was ATG. A superb boxer with a great chin who (because of fragile hands) changed from slugging to a highly unorthodox style of boxing which opponents had great difficulty reading.

Yes, he probably should have gone to America earlier. But he got there in the end. The Kessler fight was his finest hour. The Hopkins fight vindicated him internationally.

Sheika never was anything other than a contender, Reid gave him his toughest fight, Kessler was untested and fought a bunch of weak opposition(except andrade, now that calz is gone kessler is arguably the best SMW). RJJ, B-Hop, and Eubank were all on the tailends of their career(B-hop still made him look bad). Lacy Never was anything, the fact that he is still a top 10 SMW ****ing behooves me. I 'll say he was a guy with loads of talent, Had all the tools to make him a great fighter, was sometimes exciting to watch but, had a weak resume, and was a slapper towards the tailend of his career, oh yeah and he never left to fight outside his country while he was in his prime and instead chose to make 20+ weak defenses.
