So only 2 people think that it isn't okay to go alone. ****, it's cheap, and you're going to be watching boxers fight most of the time anyway, it's not like prom. If you can go to a movie by yourself why not be able to go watch a boxing fight live?

I think you're on safe ground going to sporting events by yourself.
Even going to the movies by yourself is okay. I actually like doing a lot of stuff by myself.
However..........never eat in a restaurant by yourself - that's tragic. That **** makes me sad when ever I see it.Comment

Yeah you guys are right, if I dont go I will regret it. Winky, Lacey, Tarver and Nate Campbell are all local fighters and every once in a blue moon they'll do a local fight. Of course the bigger fights like Winky-Williams are in Vegas. I regretted not getting to see any of them so far and they are all nearing retirement so I better see them if I can.
I bought a ticket directly through the box office and it came out to only $23.50!
The seat is pretty good too considering, its on the 2nd level, in section C2, I woulda thought theyd be 3rd level seats, so its pretty close, the sundome isnt that big really.

He hasnt been the same since the Calzaghe fight or the shoulder surgery and has looked pretty bad in some fights, though he did look better than he has in years against Taylor.
This is just a smaller stay busy fight, initially opponent wasnt even announced, just the date and venue and that Lacey would be fighting. They wanted to make a hometown fight that the locals could see with reasonable ticket prices and Lacey is starting up his own promotions company.
They are talking about setting up Lacey vs Jones sometime later this year.Comment

go bro, nothign is more exciting than live boxing. it doesn't matter if you go alone or not, because the action is going to be the same no matter who you bring and if no one goes with you, then it's their loss. i go to fights all the time, thing is though, out here in vegas, i always run into people i know, so it's not that big of a deal but no matter where you are, going to fights should be top priority not who is going with you....
go have fun and make the best of it, not to mention, make some friends, when you go to a boxing match all alone, there is one thing that you have to remember, you're going to a place where people have the same interests as you......Comment
