Its Nonito time soon. Any potential banana skins coming up against Martinez? and when is Shaw gonna grow a pair and let Vic and Nonito sort this **** out in the ring? Ps. I'm picking Donaire over Vic if they fight again.
Next Up It's Nonito

Nonito just landed the perfect "lucky" counter left hook on Vic. It was a beautiful punch but that's all there was, Vic tags his ass in a rematch if fat ass Shaw ever gets it done (doubt it). -
Can't see it, to be honest, Donaire fights tall and rangy, he is a good mover as well with real power, Vic crouches and is still very one handed, bad fight for vic, plus I think doniare went for that left a few times before he connected perfectly, but im open to correction on that one.
Only thing i dont like about Donaire, lack of head movement, its like his head is stuck on a pole, its gonna cost him one day, Mithalane hit him clean a few times in that fight, close fight too, Nonito needs to sort that out.Comment

Erm, he'd landed that same punch and hurt Vic before, so how the hell was it lucky? Not to mention the fact that he was boxing circles around Vic through the whole of that fight. And would do again.Comment

Ever since that last Nonito fight, you can't deny the fact that Vic has improved his boxing skills, he clearly demonstrated that against a skilled boxer in Mijares and the destruction of Arce. I'm not a Vic fan at all but I just see him beating Nonito in a rematch.Comment

nonito is a very bad match up for a small guy who fights at midrange like vic........nonito's reach and jab make him a nightmare.....Comment

Yep, it was an awesome performance against Mijares, although less so against Arce IMHO, where he sort of reverted back to the old Vic, all open defense and brawling. Although you could argue he knew he could because he could see Arce didn't have it in him.
The Mijares performance certainly bodes well for Vic in a Donaire rematch. But I still think Donaire's got his number. His footwork and movement is just terrific, and he's got enough power to keep Vic wary, which Mijares didn't.
I think to say Donaire caught him with a lucky punch overlooks the fact that Vic was getting completely schooled before the KO.
Anyway, I hope it happens, because it's like Pavlik-Abraham - one of those fights that needs to happen. But sadly, this being boxing, probably won't.Comment

um I had Nonito 3-1 before the KO and he was landing that "lucky" punch with some frequency so Im not sure we were watching the same fight
maybe you confuse Nonito with Glenn who Vic fought prior to Nonito
and sorry but its not up to Shaw to grow a pair moreso than Nonito to act like a man and honor his contracts. He is being led around by the ***** (his wife) and burned a lot of bridges. Hearing some of the stuff it's no wonder Shaw won't give him the time of dayComment
