    Which fight was more enjoyable?

Both fights happened in 2004 and involved the 4 most important 126/130 pounders of recent memory...

Barrera-Morales III got FOTY honors, but a lot of love was also given to Marquez-Pacquiao I.

What was more enjoyable to you?

As a fight, I prefer Barrera-Morales 3, even though they had lost a step by that point, they gave everything they had in that ring, it helped that they had such an intense rivalry in and out of the ring.

Marquez-Pacquiao was a great fight though.

I honestly thought that fight was the best Barrera had ever looked. I mean, really that guy's countering skills were beyond perfect that night. Morales disappointed me... he didn't look as past his prime as people make him out to be... rather, in the early rounds, it kind of looked like he was just not that motivated to be in the fight. Jones Jr. kept talking about how the way he was talking before the fight showed that he really wasn't interested in the fight... whatever it was, Morales didn't really show up in the early rounds. He did show that he still had a lot to offer (which made a repeat showing when he beat Pacquiao in his next fight) in the later rounds, but... by the point it was too late. I also can't believe that a lot of people thought Paul Smith's 114-114 card was a good call... I would really struggle to find any way possible that the fight could be called any way other than a win for Barrera.

Marquez-Pacquiao I gets downgraded by me a little because Pacquiao had little skill back then (not really, but you know what I mean... compared to his style now, he was just so damn limited in his approach), and the fight was one-sided... it just happened to be one-sided for both guys at certain times. Not a whole lot of rounds were really contested very hard.

Clearly both of these fights have been graded more harshly than they should have been by me, but... it's necessary to pick out the negatives to differentiate between two such great fights. This post would not fit on one page if I was to talk about the great parts of these fights.

I have nothing to say to this except that I agree with you.
