How good was Sharmba Mitchell at 140?

I mean, he obviously was not the best, beacuse Tszyu ran that division, but he was second best it seemed like... perhaps an argument could be made for Super Judah, but... other than that, there isn't much competition.

I have only seen him get destroyed by Tszyu in the rematch and when he got whipped into shape at 147 by Mayweather Jr. amd Williams, and none of those are really accurate representations of him, in his prime, healthy and at his proper weight.

So, what do people think about him and his run at 140?

I always liked Sharmba. His biggest problem was that he was a small guy without alot of pop. But he was quick and had alot of talent. He had alot of people thinking he could outclass Kostya when he came back after his long layoff (we all know how that ended.) The Sharmba that fought Floyd was in for a payday. You cant go off of that fight. Also, didnt he have some nagging injuries for most of his career that slowed him down? I cant remember but I seem to think he did.

He was a fast, slick, well skilled guy at 140. Good fighter, not great. Gave Tszyu a few troubles in their first fight. Mitchell suffered a pretty bad injury to his knee that he probably never really recovered from too.

His knee crumbled into dust in the first Tszyu fight, which never really healed he said. He was also having real trouble making 140 towards the end he said.

Like I said, I put almost 0 stock into the Mayweather fight, and less than 0 stock into the Williams fight.

He didn't look too bad against Mayweather for being undersized and old, but... he just got crushed by a giant in the Williams fight.
