Wright Dedicates Williams Fight To Artie Curry

Winky Wright, returning to the ring for the first time in nearly two-years on Saturday night at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, has dedicated the fight with Paul Williams to Artie Curry, who was found dead in his New York City apartment Wednesday. Curry, 49, was HBO's director of boxing talent relations, and very well liked among everyone in the boxing industry. [details]

a sad day for winky and many others. Leave it to wright after a long lay off to fight the best. No tune up fight and not getting any younger. Williams is the very best in his division and i see him winning with , youth, reach , size , power and speed, on his side.
No one ever wanted to fight winky because he is a master boxer and he tended to make the best look bad.eg. Trinidad. I had wright, on points, winning over hopkins. One thing to remember is don't be
so shocked if winky wins a decision over williams because wright has amazed us in the past eg. Mosley twice. Oscar did'nt even want to hear winkys name ,he wanted no part of winky and for a good reason. Oscar knew he would be up **** creek without a paddle.wright never had the recognition he deserves because of his lack of power. Oh man , he is a true superb boxer that is hard to hit and even harder to k.o. This time he is over extending himself at his age. If he was in his prime there would be not a hope
in hell of williams winning. Rodhook
